Who Is It For?
These courses are designed for those who want to know more than the basics and are especially good for frequent riders who need to maintain their bikes on a more regular basis, such as regular commuter cyclists, mountain bikers, racing cyclists or touring cyclists. They say ‘the devil’s in the detail’ and these courses are certainly wicked – you’ll come away armed with all the skills needed to perform some very complex tasks plus loads of valuable advice.
This course covers:
- Stripping your bike down to the frame
- Cleaning all your bike parts in a professional Parts Washer
- Step by step rebuild, replacing cables and re-greasing as we go
- All under the watchful eye of your qualified Cytech technician
NOTE: Hydraulic Brakes and suspension are not covered in this course.
What should you bring?
You will be working on your own bike and will get most from the course by bringing a “well-loved” bike that is in sound working order, but ready for a service. Please bring one bike only.
We will supply all tools, a professional bike work stand.
Cable inners and outers along with top quality lubes and greases are included. Brake pads can be purchased from the bike shop over the road if needed.
